All Summer School participants will be housed in Älvsjö, 10 minutes from Flemingsberg and 9 minutes from Stockholm City.
The easiest way to go from Älvsjö to Flemingsberg is by commuter train towards Tumba or Södertälje centrum. Normally, there is a train departing from Älvsjö every 13-15 minutes.
In case of larger stops in the commuter traffic, the closest route is to go by bus. 143 from Älvsjö to Rågsved, 17:50 from Rågsved to Södertörns högskola). Normally, there is a train departing from Älvsjö every 15 minutes. Arrival at the bus stop Södertörns Högskola is located on the ”back” of the Campus.
All doctoral students are granted a digital SL card, usable for the week. With the SL card, you can travel by commuter train, subway, light rail, and even boat.
The app can also be used as a travel planner and provides information about any issues with the traffic. During August, travelers open the doors of the commuter train at the button blinking green.
